Uppdrag Mars

Design and creation of a foldable and movable model landscape of Mars for Umevatoriet. This was big enough for remotely operated a mini rover to drive about on picking up Mars dust and rocks to analyse. The rover was controlled virtually via tablets, with several operators controlling different parts of the rover, just like the real thing.

I had some expert help from astro physicist Bastien Erpelding on getting the landscape just right, and the Mars rover and control interface was designed and built by students from KriMag Technology, all round a great collaboration.
