In miniature that is, Bastien from umevatoriet has asked us to work with him to build a Mars / alien landscape so vistors can drive this little rover about. It’s controlled via computer, and the drivers can only see through the camera attached to the rover.
Raoul and his brother Coren start the groundwork for the garage, luckly the topsoil is pretty deep here and we did not instantly hit rock. Great job, and nice bit of ground levelling sorted easily with this powerful old machine.
Just finished the introduction workshop for UMA School of Architecture, so with the help of Anton and Allan, the students managed to set the fire alarm off twice and flood small sections of most of the building. It was a wonderful week and the students excelled in making a very large coffee machine. Congratulations to all involved.
A lovely and productive weekend with Lynn, Miguel (the brazilian returns) and UID guest lecturers Ruben van Leer and Kay van Vree.
