Since we have just had the first bit of snowfall here in floda, it seemed only right to test out the new fireplace. It works, even with it’s lowest possible air intake setting, we had to open the balcony doors and the downstairs windows. Can’t wait to test it when it’s -25 outside.
In dedication to steve’s new van, camper and caravan (at times). Notice, it’s almost as yellow as the sunset.
Steve had a vision “Fördriv tiden igen som om det vore sommar”, it ended up on todays front page of VF Västerbottens Folkblad. Here we are studying the doctor who props.
The vision was also filmed for SVT television
Steve asked us to work with him to create a new interactive light sculpture for this years Umeå light festival “City of My Dreams”. So far alls well, we will see how the cold effects things. You can check it out in downtown Umeä, and here is some more info about the other 22 installations around town.
Even though the workshop does not have all of it’s toys just yet, it has enough… The sun came out, when it was going down.
Last monday (14 November) we hosted a workshop for Krenova. With the help of our very talented friend Petter, participants looked at the creative process from various angles. Based around the focus question “How can we enhance the experience of going back up hill after having gone down it, either by snowboard, ski, mountain bike or on foot?”.
With excellent fika provided by Emma.
